YardHub was created from a love of horses, problem-solving and making everyday life a little simpler - so there is more time for the things that matter.
Where it started
Jackie grew up in East London, South Africa, and was drawn to horses from an early age. After studying at Stellenbosch University, she fell in love with the Winelands and made the Western Cape home. More than 25 years later, she is still happiest outdoors, surrounded by family, horses and the rhythm of yard life.
As a horse owner, Jackie saw how easily information could become scattered across WhatsApp messages, notebooks, invoices and memory. Treatment notes were difficult to find, reminders depended on someone remembering, and there was rarely one clear place to see the full picture of a horse's care.
Passionate about simplifying complex problems, Jackie set out to create a practical solution that would make horse yard management easier, more organised and less reliant on memory.
That's how YardHub was born.
